On the first day of Winterstock there was another great storm and everyone concerned was worried that the festival would be cancelled and all the hobbits who travelled to Ered Luin were worried that it would be a wasted trip. We all know how hard the organisers work to get the show on the ice, and right up until the last minute there was concern that it would not go ahead, but it did, albeit a little late. A few of the roads were apparently impassible and some artists and audience were not able to be at the festival. Another storm hit on Saturday and a couple of bands were postponed twice.
We watched many bands old and new, including some of our hobbit friends, and stayed up into the night singing and dancing and eating pies, as one does.
Some very troublesome free peoples turned up, and made public enemies of themselves and it looked as if they would ruin the whole affair until Master Moose, an associate of the well known Mr T. Urbine, arrived and told them in no uncertain terms to behave.
Our performance was the first to which we have ever worn boots! Standing on the ice was too much for even our toes. We performed a couple of new tracks as well as some favourites. We were honoured and very grateful to have the lovely and talented Kelidonna helping us out with our performance. Both Toolee and I sang, and we all played as if it was our last performance and we felt as if we had done ourselves proud.
Some of the tunes we played:
The audience seemed to like the performance, and we had plenty of positive feedback.

We would like to thank Kelidonna; the organisers; the other bands; Mr Moose; the vendors; security staff and most of all the audience. It was an excellent and grand festival.
